This past weekend, the Santropol Roulant farm team was pleased to host the annual Community Farm Day in Senneville. Visitors were able to come and learn more about our 3-acre farm through tours and games. It was great to welcome people of all ages in the fields and share the freshly harvested veggies during the potluck lunch!
The Roulant farm supports the production of fresh vegetables for our kitchen programs, our organic baskets and our weekly farmer’s markets. The Community Farm Day was a lovely opportunity for community members who hadn’t yet visited the farm to do so. We hope to see you there next year so we can share our excitement about organic small-scale agriculture with you!
