Getting to the farm

The farm does not have an address which can make it tricky to find the first time you go there. These instructions will help you find your way. If you’re having a hard time getting to the farm, call the farm phone at (438) 389-6616 and someone will be able to help guide you to the entrance.

How to get there

You have several options for transport out to the farm:

Bike only: The ride out from Montreal takes about 2.5 hours. There are a number of different routes to get to the farm but we usually use the following:

  • Follow the bike path along the Lachine canal and keep on it as it becomes the lake shore bike path.
  • Take the bike path to Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue.
  • From Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue make your way to chemin de Senneville by bike.
  • Follow the road until 270 chemin de Senneville.

Train + Bike: The Vaudreuil – Hudson train line will bring you from Lucien L’Allier to the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue station.* Below are the instructions that will take you from the station to the farm:

  • From the station in Ste-Anne make your way to chemin de Senneville by bike.
  • Follow the road until 270 chemin de Senneville.

Train + free Senneville Taxi: The Vaudreuil – Hudson train line will bring you from Lucien L’Allier to the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue station.*

  • Free stm service with accompanying stm transit pass to take you from the Ste-Anne station to the farm – see the stm’s page here for more information
  • You must reserve your taxi prior to each use by calling (514) 636-6666 or online (in French).
  • From April 1 to November 30, you must reserve at least 40 minutes prior to your trip.
  • From December 1 to March 31, you must reserve at least 60 minutes prior to your trip.
  • The taxi stop closest to the farm entrance is Senneville / No 265 (SNV-119)

*Please be aware that not all trains go all the way to Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and that the schedule on weekends is different than on weekdays.

Car: The drive from downtown to Senneville can take anywhere from 35mins to over an hour depending on traffic. You’ll find the directions to the farm on this map. Get yourself to 270 chemin de Senneville, Senneville QC then follow the instructions below.

We are looking for drivers over the age of 25 to drive the shuttle from the Roulant office to the farm so that more volunteers can come!

Getting from chemin de Senneville to the farm: aka The Last Stretch!

The farm is situated across the road from 270 chemin de Senneville. A little further west of 270 chemin de Senneville is a dirt road that leads into the woods (pictured below).  Follow the dirt road and take the second left to get to a clearing. Congratulations! You’ve made it to the farm!
