We’re happy to announce our new series of gardening workshops, starting with Gardening 101: Get Your Grow On, where we’ll lead participants through the early steps of setting up a garden.
Topics that we will cover include: selecting your site, preparing your beds/bins, transplanting your seedlings, and taking care of your plants in the early days of the season.
This workshop is intended for newer gardeners who are looking for some broad guidelines in setting up their gardens. It will also be complemented with another workshop later on in the season that will explain how to maintain your garden once you’ve hit your stride.
- When: Tuesday May 5th, 5pm – 7 pm
- Where: 111 Roy St. East
- Cost: $15 suggested contribution
The workshop will be bilingual.
