Events, Fundraising, Volunteering - Personal

Rejoice soccer fans, the Froot Cup just around the corner! This exciting fundraiser is coming up on May 30th!

In case you haven’t heard, the Froot Cup is our friendly co-ed soccer tournament where teams compete to claim the coveted Froot Cup trophy. As always, it’s a fun day spent outdoors with family and friends so come on out and support the teams!

14 soccer teams have committed to playing in the tournament and raising funds for the Roulant’s programs, including: Concordia, Radial Point, First Capital Realty, Evenko, McKibbin’s, ED Eye/Steel Film, Sparrow/Blizzard, MindGeek, Raison d’être, Cherry Pickers and the Wyld Stallions!

There are many ways you can still be involved in this event:

  • Attend the tournament : Bring your friends and family and support the teams! There will be games for kids, fruit and frozen treats.
  • Participate in the tournament : We’re still looking for 2 teams to join the tournament, a corporate team and a small business team*.
  • Play on a community team: The Roulant volunteer team is still looking for players!
  • Volunteer during the event: We’re looking for volunteers who would like to help out during the event. We especially need a photographer and a someone to lead the kids zone.

If you are looking for a fun-in-the-sun day, a great excuse to pack a picnic and bring the whole family to enjoy the sport, music, community and free fruit, then the Froot Cup is the spring event you have been waiting for!

  • When : Saturday, May 30th 2015, 10am-5pm
  • Where : Concordia Stadium, 7200 Sherbrooke St. W, Montreal – Maisonneuve Field
  • Why: Because the Froot Cup is a great opportunity to bond with the community and show your support for the Roulant

Contact Marie if you’d like to sign up as a volunteer or a player, or check out the Facebook event for more information.

*We are looking for a corporate team (2500$ for registration fees) and a small business team (500$ for registration fees). To participate, your team must consist of 10-12 players (including 2 female players) and must find ways to collect funds (ex.
