Our delicious and delightful client brunch took place on Thursday, July 26th at McGill University beside the Edible Campus gardens.In attendance were 20 clients, 35 volunteers, and 15 staff – a big crowd of folks who all contributed to making the event a success!
Many dishes were shared including magnificent mushroom and spinach quiche, gorgeous grilled veggie wraps, quintessential quinoa salada, and lovely lemon meringue & perfect peach pies.
Many thanks to all of the volunteers who helped cook, transport, and serve the food, setup the tents and tables, and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our clients! Our artistic volunteers kept things lively: Robbie Tucker and Marco Arrais on guitar, Sylvia Chomko on violin,our photographers Jordan Lallouz and Vanessa Finnie, and Antoine Porcheron creating works of art on his sketchpad.
We can’t wait for next year’s summer brunch so we can do it all over again! We’ll see you there!
