Neighbourhood Markets

SR’s Friendly Neighbourhood Pocket Market

Our own market stand is situated at the corner of Milton and Ste-Famille in Montreal’s Milton-Parc Neighborhood, a short walk from our Roy Street offices. We sell vegetables from our three urban and peri-urban growing sites, as well as from other local and organic farms.

The market runs every Thursday from 4:30-7pm over the peak summer months (July 12th-September 27th).

Low-income market-goers can choose to buy a $10 punch card worth $20 in fruits and vegetables. Every time a dollar is spent at the market, a hole is punched in their card.

We are also interested in sharing our space with other vendors of local or organic products. If you have something to sell at our market, you should send an email to Pierre-Vincent.

Little Burgundy Citizens Market

The Little Burgundy Citizen’s Market seeks to make fresh produce affordable to neighborhood residents, while encouraging local growers. In the absence of a major grocery store within close proximity, the neighborhood is considered a food desert.

We participate in the Citizen’s Market, and sell low-cost vegetables on the first and third Saturday of the month during the peak summer months.
