Santrovélo bike shop

Please note that Santrovelo will be closed the following date: Monday, May 20th 2013

Got a bike that needs repairs? Do you want to build one up from parts on your own? Come by the SantroVélo community workshop where our enthusiastic volunteer bike mechanics will teach you how to fix your bike.

SantroVélo is a place of learning, so we won’t fix your bike for you like at a regular bike shop. Instead, the volunteers will teach, guide and support you as you learn to fix your bike and use the tools yourself. You’ll see, it’s really not hard, and you’ll learn a lot about your bike. Plus, you’ll save a lot of money and you’ll be proud of your bike!

Our volunteers are helpful and friendly, and they care a lot about making the bike shop feel welcoming to everyone.

We also stock used and new parts at really accessible prices. So, whether you’re a seasoned biker or a beginner, drop by and learn a valuable skill before hitting the road.

Schedule:

  • Monday: 5pm-7:30pm
  • Tuesday: 5pm-7:30pm
  • Wednesday: 5pm-7:30pm
  • Thursday: closed
  • Friday: closed
  • Saturday: 12am-3pm
  • Sunday: closed

Generous volunteers run the workshop, so these hours may change depending on their availabilities. If you’d like, you can phone us before showing up, or consult the SantroVélo Facebook page for updates!

To inquire about volunteering in the shop, you can also email Ben, our volunteer coordinator,  at ben@santropolroulant.org.

Membership fee:

To gain access to the shop, use the tools, and purchase new and used parts, your need to be a member of the co-op. We make it affordable; memberships are $5 per visit, or $15 for the season.
