This election season, individuals and organizations across the country are talking about food security as part of Food Secure Canada’s Eat, Think, Vote. The Roulant is joining in on the fun and will play host to one of these events on September 14.
Come join other members of the community to discuss ways in which to improve the food security of all Canadians. We especially want to discuss ending hunger, supporting new farmers, the Northern food crisis, and a universal healthy school food program. You can find out more about these issues on the Eat Think Vote website.
The candidates representing the five major parties for the riding of Laurier-Ste Marie have been invited and at the end of the event will be invited to take the pledge for a national food policy.
- What: A community event to meet your federal candidates and tell them your concerns about and ideas for food and the food system in Canada.
- When: September 14, 5:30pm
- Where: 111 Roy East
Please RSVP to carlo (at) santropolroulant.org so that we can reserve you a place. Also, please let us know if climbing two flights of stairs poses a challenge for you; this will help us decide on which floor the event will take place.

I am interested in attending this event
Hi, I’d like to RSVP for the Eat Think Vote event on Sept. 14th but the link on the page doesn’t seem to be working. How can I get my name on the list?
Thanks!
