September has arrived and it’s time to grow your knowledge by learning the science of seed saving in order to prepare your garden for next year!
When: Wednesday, September 18th, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm
Where: Terrasses Roy in front of Santropol Roulant on 111 rue Roy Est (second floor in case of rain)
Cost: suggested contribution of $10 to $15 (pay-what-you-can)
Please note that the workshop will be bilingual.
This workshop will give you the chance to learn the basic principles of seed biodiversity as they apply to your favorite veggies, along with many ways to harvest the most popular varieties of seeds and conserve them until the spring. You will get to see different types of seeds and experience seed harvesting directly in the rue Roy gardens.
