With the loosening of health restrictions and the coming of summer, the Roulant farm and our Meals-on-Wheels program are ready as ever to welcome you and your team to come together for your community! Through meaningful corporate team building activities at the Roulant, your team can have a direct impact on food security and social inclusion in Montreal.
OUR PROGRAMS
Peri-urban agriculture
Contribute to the roots of the food cycle and enjoy the fresh air at our peri-urban farm in the West Island from May to October. The organic produce harvested from these sites help feed our Meals-on-Wheels program as well as food baskets for our community partners, Partage & Solidarité and the Native Friendship Centre of Montreal.
Our agro-educational farm in Senneville is perfect for hosting large groups of up to 15 people per day. The 3.5 acre organically-certified site aims to conserve biodiversity and arable land on the island of Montreal and make agricultural spaces accessible for all.
Shifts last from 8:15 to noon or 9:00 to 2:00, according to your availability – don’t forget to bring a lunch for a mid-day picnic in the fields!
Intergenerational Meals-on-Wheels
Participating in our Meals-on-Wheels program allows you to connect with the community by helping prepare and deliver nutritious meals to our clients, many of whom are seniors living with limited mobility, and to our community partners.
Your team will enjoy an afternoon exploring the city together on our walking routes while providing the essential service of feeding fellow Montrealers.
It’s also possible for groups of 2 people to spend the morning or afternoon in our kitchen, cooking the meals to be sent out. This activity is offered year-round and is ideal for groups of up to 10 people, spread out between the kitchen and the delivery routes.
Each activity includes a short orientation and tour, as well as a group photo of your team giving back.
ACTIVITY DONATION
We ask that companies make a donation to the Roulant in order to book a corporate team building activity with us. This contribution serves to deepen the impact of your engagement and helps us cover the costs of coordinating your experience. The donation amount is calculated using the Roulant’s Solidarity Sliding Scale according to size of the group(s) and your employer’s financial capacity, ranging from $200 upwards. Provided the maximum capacity of participants is reached, the per-person cost is between $13 and $55 – less than most escape rooms and archery ranges!
