On a rainy Thursday, October 13, the Roulant welcomed more than 60 members of its community to celebrate the arrival of autumn over a seasonal snack prepared in the kitchen.
It was a wonderful opportunity to bring together volunteers, clients, and staff in a warm and musical atmosphere with Claude, Serge, and Robert performing. The Roulant hasn’t had the opportunity to welcome this many clients since the beginning of the pandemic, and it was heartening to see the enthusiasm, laughter, and conversations that abounded in the space. Food really does bring people together! This event was also an opportunity for community members to visit the green roof and terrace, just in time to observe the end of the agricultural season and admire the colors of Mount Royal in the distance. It had been a long time since we have had the pleasure of such a Roulantesque cacophony and thus renew the now well-established tradition of our seasonal intergenerational community events.
Thank you to everyone who attended the event and stay tuned for the next winter festivity coming up soon!
