The Roulant is looking for three senior community members who are interested in education related to agriculture and food for children. Mentors will be paired with a kindergarten group from the Pizza Garden project and will work with Adrienne to support her in facilitating the planned workshops. This is a paid opportunity available from December 2023 to March 2024, with the possibility of extension.
The minimum participation would be one workshop of one hour per month from December 2023 to March 2024.
There will also be the opportunity to support, create, and/or lead additional workshops for motivated mentors!
Selection criteria:
- Individuals aged 65+
- Good oral communication skills in French
- Interest or experience in working with children
- Interest or experience in the field of food or agriculture
