At the end of 2017, Santropol Roulant had the pleasure of welcoming 3 corporate volunteering groups who came in to help us with food preparation and meal deliveries for our Meals-on-Wheels program.
5 employees from Dream came in on two occasions to lend a hand in the kitchen, helping prepare shrimp linguine, vegetarian quiche, and all of the side dishes of the day.
2 employees from PWC helped prepare and package vegetable fried rice, tuna casserole, salads, and desserts.
10 employees from FLS Transport helped not only to prepare and package some peanut chicken and all accompanying dishes, but they then delivered these meals to our clients in the Mile-End and Centre Sud neighbourhoods.
In addition to generously giving of their time, these 3 companies also made financial donations to support our programs and activities. It’s because of partnerships like these that the Roulant keep rolling.
A big thank you to Dream, PWC, and FLS Transport for allowing us to complete 2017 on a great note and we hope to see them again in 2018!
