This December, the Roulant was lucky enough to host the Meals-on-Wheels clients for a festive holiday brunch. This event featured not only a delicious three course holiday meal prepared by the kitchen team and volunteers, but also the sweet sounds of a three person choir who serenaded the clients in English and French at their tables!
Events like this are so important to the Roulant community – they allow staff and volunteers to connect with clients on a personal level and for them to build connections between one another. Everyone in attendance was encouraged to put their wishes for 2025 on the wishing tree. On the menu for 2025: peace, good health, and more time spent with those we love. Not a bad way to end the year!
We’d like to give a big thank you to all who supported this holiday event, whether they helped set up or clean up the space, cooked up tasty treats in the kitchen, volunteered to drive clients to and from the event or helped host and connect with clients during the party.
