Forget the retsina, Greek wines are in the spotlight these days! There’s an increasing wealth of Greek wines on the market that come from fascinating terroirs, made with indigenous grape varieties.
Join us October 1st for an evening of wine and merriment with sommelière Etheliya Hananova. Having recently returned from visiting wineries in Greece, she will guide us through an evening of information and a tasting of four Greek wines paired with bouchées.
About the presenter: Etheliya is the sommelière at Mile-End’s Lawrence Restaurant, as well as the contributor of the wine segment on the Télé-Québec show Curieux Bégin. She favours wines that reflect their provenance, from smaller producers who use responsibleagricultural and winemaking methods.
