On March 28 our offices were completely, and stunningly, transformed in order to comfortably welcome the 100+ members who attended our 2013 Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM is a unique and important opportunity for Roulant staff to share 2012 programming, governance and financial highlights with our membership.
The evening was filled with presentations, food, dialogue, and even a sneak peek or two about what is to come this year and in future years. The discussions were excellent and necessary fodder for the second part of the evening as we made the difficult decision about whom to elect to the Roulant’s Board.
Choosing among the 10 (!) candidates was no easy matter, and we’re extremely grateful to everyone who threw their hat into the ring.
It is therefore with great pride that we congratulate Ghalia Chahine, Vani Jain, Wayne McIntyre, Alex Nataros, François Pesant, and Joelle Vincent on being elected to our Board of Directors for a two year term. Along with Anne Delorme, client and community organizer Chris Kennedy, and David McNeil. Our new Board members will provide leadership, direction and oversight to our work in the coming years as together we nourish community and support the work and membership of Santropol Roulant.

Thank you to everyone who came out and contributed to the evening’s vibrancy and success. We’re truly lucky to have an engaged and engaging membership that continually pushes the Roulant to improve our work and increase our impact. Our successful AGM is just one example, albeit a very strong one, of the wonderful work Santropol Roulant members do all year long. Thanks again!
