Which plant remedies are helpful when you’re feeling anxious, sleepless, or sick? For thousands of years, people all over the world have used medicinal plants to help themselves feel better. While pharmaceutical medicine is indispensable, we can complement our health practices with medicinal plants, and through them, connect more deeply with our bodies.

When: Wednesday, August 2nd from  5-6 pm
Where: Outside at the street terrace tables, Santropol Roulant, 111 rue Roy east. In case of rain: 2nd floor terrasse!
Cost: 10-15$ pay-what-you-can! No one turned away for lack of funds. Please register in advance below

This workshop will be led by Anastasia, an urban agriculture intern at Santropol Roulant. She will cover some medicinal plants that grow in Montreal, the ethics of wildcrafting, how to safely use medicinal plants, what kind of plants to use for different problems, and how to make tinctures, salves, and infusions. Some teas will be served for tasting!
