Calling all green thumbs – volunteering in agriculture this season

Agriculture, Urban Agriculture, Volunteering - Corporate, Volunteering - Personal

Calling all green thumbs – our Agriculture Program will begin accepting volunteers for the 2018 season as of mid-May. This is a preliminary call-out to inform you of when and where volunteer shifts will be taking place and to gauge your interest and availability for different tasks and shifts (ex: gardening, farming, markets).

Whether you’re a current or brand new volunteer interested in agricultural volunteering opportunities this season, we ask that you fill out this survey. We will be in touch with more information and to invite you to an information session if you’ve never volunteered at the Roulant before (if you have already volunteered with us – be it in the Agriculture Program or otherwise – no need to attend one of these sessions).

This year we will not be gardening at the McGill Edible Campus – for more info about how and why this change was made, click here to read all about it.

Please note that gardening shifts are extremely popular and while we will do our best to make room for everyone who wants to participate, we cannot guarantee a spot to all.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Catherine. Looking forward to getting our hands dirty!
