Urban Agriculture volunteering starts on May 2, 2022 and registration will be available starting Friday, April 15th! Please read carefully:
✅You must have completed an information session (regular or special agriculture).
🧒Family volunteering on Tuesday nights from 5:30-7:30 pm at La Cité-des-Hospitalières – these shifts are for you and your children! In an effort to make our shifts more accessible and intergenerational, we ask that you do not sign up if it is possible for you to participate in other shifts.
♿Physical accessibility: The rooftop garden is wheelchair accessible and the building has air conditioning. The Cité-des-Hospitalières vegetable garden is in the ground and is a 6-minute walk from the restrooms.
📆UA shift dates:
- Starting May 2nd:
- Monday AM (9:30am to noon) and Thursday PM (2:00-4:30pm) on the roof.
- Starting May 17:
- Tuesday nights (5:30-7:30) and Saturday AM (9:30am to noon) at the Cité-des-Hospitalières.
In an effort to open up the shifts to more people, it is only possible to sign up for MAXIMUM 3 shifts at a time for the months of May and June.
