On Thursday, May 23, over 100 people from the Roulant and surrounding community gathered to celebrate the start of the agricultural season and the official opening of the Terrasses Roy. In its second year as a permanent project, the public space was alive with people mingling, enjoying the live DJ music, buying seedlings, planting the gardens, trying their hand at soapstone carving and savouring the soup, snacks and rhubarb cake on offer.
Thanks to all those who attended, the volunteers who helped out, and to Comm-Un for their participation in the carving activity and sale of Indigenous art from members of their community.
