On Friday, July 26th the farm will be hosting a very exciting event: our annual garlic harvest community farm work day. Join us for a special morning of harvesting, cleaning, and bunching the beautiful garlic grown for the community, followed by a community potluck on the farm.
- When: Friday July 26th, 2024 – 9AM to 2PM
- Where: Santropol Roulant farm – 269 chemin Senneville, Senneville, QC H9X 3X8.
- Directions: to the farm here, including driving, public transportation & carpooling (link).
- Accessibility: uneven dirt road with slopes at times. Sanivac toilet, chairs and tables as well as shaded areas provided on site.
Bring food to share for lunch, a water bottle, hat, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (closed shoes and long pants strongly recommended). We will have gloves, tools, sunscreen and bug spray available as well as drinkable water to refill your water bottles. Children are welcome! If you can’t make it on the 26th, we will also be harvesting and processing garlic on July 24th and 31st during the regular volunteer shifts.
