Cookbook Launch: Learning From Our Elders

Santropol Roulant is excited to announce the launch of our new cookbook: Learning From Our Elders, this Monday December 14, from 5 to 7 pm.

This book celebrates 20 years of Santropol Roulant by compiling stories and recipes shared by our clients and community. We had the opportunity to gather these experiences with a series of intergenerational cooking workshops.

Over the past several months, we invited elders in our community to share their favourite recipes and cooking techniques with workshop participants. The workshops succeeded in promoting and sharing knowledge between generations and across cultures. The book celebrates this success by sharing recipes from around the world and giving portraits of the participating chefs.

The book launch will take the form of a 5 à 7 and will be an occasion to meet the animators of the workshops, congratulate the talented volunteers who worked on the project and, of course, get a copy of the book!
