We’re back for the 8th workshop in the series Recipes from our community, where we invite the members of our community of all ages to share their recipes and culinary successes.
Atabak, a community member and meals-on-wheels volunteer, will share with us some of his favorite simple and quick Iranian recipes using two authentic ingredients: pomegranate and saffron.
When: Wednesday, January 18th from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: The Roulant’s kitchen, 111 Roy East
Cost: By donation
On the menu
Appetizer: Pomegranate salad, a very delicious vegetarian salad
Main dish: Adas Polo, Persian rice with lentils and ground beef
Dessert: Saffron Rice Pudding (Sholeh Zard), sweet and flowery taste with a slight cinnamon accent
