Every Spring, an intergenerational delegation of Santropol’s community members heads out for our annual Sugar Shack outing. This year was no exception as we drove to Mont-Saint-Grégoire on the south shore of Montreal in an uncertain, but forgiving weather.
We do this because we strongly believe in reinforcing social inclusion and providing a sense of belonging to everyone through social gatherings centered around food.
This year, a group of over 70 clients, volunteers, and staff members got together for this trip. As with all Roulant’s events, the contribution of our amazing volunteers was an intricate part of its success. They helped us ensure that all of our guests were safely driven to and from Érablière Charbonneau, but most importantly, cared for our clients in a personal and loving way.
Thank you to everyone who supported this event!
