Believe it or not, spring is on its way and it will soon be time to get the soil ready!
Be it at the farm, on the rooftop, at the Cité-des-Hospitalières… we need you! Sign up for one of the two ‘‘Agriculture special’’ info-sessions to get everything ready to join us in the fields. We will be talking about the history and goals of our programs, what to expect, how to prepare, and answer any questions you may have.
✅If you are already a volunteer at the Roulant but have never volunteered in our agricultural programs, we encourage you to attend! However, having completed an orientation session for any program allows you to sign up to shifts.
👤Working full weeks or have kids at home? In an effort to make our shifts more accessible, we will be holding evening & kid-friendly shifts in our urban agriculture programs this year! More info to come.
♿Physical accessibility: The rooftop garden is wheelchair-accessible and the building is air-conditioned. The Cité-des-Hospitalières garden is in-ground and a 6 minute walk away from the bathrooms. The farm in Senneville – public transport and carpooling available -, is in-ground and requires walking longer distances.
