On April 26th, more than a hundred Roulant members – Meals-on-Wheels clients, representatives of partner organizations, past and present staff, volunteers, and donors – gathered together for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to elect a new Board of Directors for 2026. The evening was also marked by an exceptional Korean-inspired meal courtesy of the kitchen team and a special announcement regarding a new investment opportunity at the Roulant: community bonds.
The AGM is a form of accountability to Roulant members, where staff and the board ensure that the community is up to speed on the past year of Roulant life through speeches, Q&As and informal conversation. This event also marked the debut of the 2025 Annual Report, a lovingly crafted document with beautiful photos of the community and highlights of Santropol Roulant’s 2025 activities.
After a close vote, the Roulant community re-elected board member Noémie Desbiens Riendeau and elected two new members to the board: Rania Gamal and Anne Loranger-King. Rania, Anne, and Noémie will join Carole Déry, David Ouellet, Emilie Poitout, Guillaume Charpenel, Lennyg Tercero Estrada, and Sebastian Roy-Heaton to form Santropol Roulant’s 2026 Board of Directors. A massive thank you to all candidates who applied to the board this year and supported the democratic process at the Roulant!

Thank you to each person who made this election possible – by voting, volunteering, and supporting the Roulant’s activities. We look forward to seeing you again soon at the next event!
