We would like to give a big shout out to our friends at the Bank of Montreal! What started with a simple mortgage renegotiation (okay, it wasn’t so simple) has lead to a multi-faceted relationship that continues to benefit the Roulant in many and often unexpected ways.
From the get go they were amazing to work with as together we figured out our best mortgage option, and to our great delight they took significant interest in our work and started to volunteer, attend our events and participate in the life of Santropol Roulant. It’s always a pleasure to welcome them into our kitchen for morning meal preparation, and our volunteer lounge for afternoon meal deliveries. In fact, over the past year, we have welcomed over 30 BMO employees to the Roulant. All told, these individuals have contributed more than 90 hours to the preparation and delivery of more than 100 meals.
We were also the benefactors of their Casino fundraiser and at the end of the year they arrived with a cheque from their employee fund. All told, BMO has donated over $20,000 to Santropol Roulant this year.
We are excited to continue to deepen this relationship in 2013. Once again, thank you BMO!
