In case you weren’t among the 90+ people who came to our Annual General Meeting last week, below is a sampling of what you missed!
Board and Staff shared successes from 2013 as well as our hopes and dreams for 2014 and beyond, as members mingled and mixed while enjoying delicious treats from our kitchen as well as from our partners D-liche cupcakes and Juliette et Chocolat.
Official membership business included reviewing programs, finances and approving new bylaws, and also electing a new Board of Directors. Before announcing our new Board, we’d like to thank outgoing member Alex Nataros for his hard work and service. Best of luck Alex, and we hope to see you soon!
So without further delay, a warm welcome and congratulations to our newest board member, Lindsay Wiginton, and a welcome back to Chris Kennedy, Anne Delorme and Dave McNeil who were all elected for a second term. We had a very competitive election, with 8 wonderful, and wonderfully talented members and it’s with sincere gratitude that we would like to thanks all the candidates for their dedication to the Roulant.
We are proud and humbled to have such active and committed members.Thank you as well to everyone who came out and made the night such a success. Your participation throughout the evening was yet another reminder of how lucky we are to have such an engaged and supportive membership. We are already looking forward to seeing you at next year’s AGM and throughout the year!
