As the new year begins, our volunteer program is in full swing. Throughout January, we are recruiting volunteers to help us with our meals-on-wheels service, in the kitchen, administrative tasks and especially on deliveries.
If you have excellent hand writing, the fundraising team would love your help during office hours (9am-5pm). Email Meghan for more info.
As a reminder, the meals-on-wheels schedule runs from Monday to Wednesday, as well as Friday and Saturday:
- In the kitchen (cooking and prep):
- Weekdays 9:30am – 12:30pm
- Saturdays 9am – 12pm
- In the kitchen (meal packaging, kitchen cleaning, prep work):
- Weekdays 1:30pm – 4pm
- Saturdays 1pm – 3:30pm
- On route (meal deliveries):
- Weekdays 2:45pm – 6pm (approx)
- Saturdays 2pm – 5pm (approx)
