Do you love urban fruit? The Fruits Défendus collective is seeking new members!
Getting involved
We are seeking individuals who will be available to attend weekly meetings and commit an additional 2 or 3 hours of their weekly schedule to the collective from March through to November. Other volunteer opportunities for people interested in harvesting fruit or becoming harvest leaders will also be available! We will be in touch with our networks with regards to these in the months to come.
As a core member of the collective, you’ll have the opportunity to devote a few hours per week to advancing the Fruits Défendus collective’s projects. These include:
- maintaining communication and logistics during the harvest season
- building connections between tree owners and harvest teams
- managing databases
- tracking taking pictures
- creating stimulating visuals and web content.
What is Les Fruits Défendus?
A collective that connects homeowners with trees, willing volunteers and community organizations to harvest and share urban fruit which might otherwise fall to the ground. Should you wish to know more about the collective check out our website and facebook page, or contact us via email.

Nous espérons que vous profiterez de ces pommes! Connaissez-vous les cueille fruits de Lee Valley? Ils sont super pour cueillir les pommes qui poussent dans des arbres qui ont été taillés moins fréquemment. Un investissement qui vaut la peine…
