5 days a week, 52 weeks a year, our volunteers deliver freshly prepared meals to our client-members across various neighbourhoods surrounding the Mount Royal. Two of our delivery routes, Cote-des-Neiges and Notre Dame de Grace, are done by car, and we are very lucky to have the support of local businesses who help to maintain our two cars in working order.
We recently had the help of Centre de l’Auto Beaumont to bring one car up to standard for the installation of a hand control for drivers with reduced mobility. The installation of this hand control was done by our friends at Van-Action, a division of Savaria, who are specialists in adaptation of motor vehicles. Now volunteers with reduced mobility like Jaspal can drive the SR car!
For over 10 years now, Montreal Auto Prix. has donated and maintained one of our cars, and most recently they replaced one of them for a newer model. We are proud to carry their company logo around town as we deliver meals!
Thanks to the generosity of these companies, we are able to deliver around 200 meals per week throughout the entire year to both CDN and NDG combined. You might say we’re on a roll!
