The gardens are in full bloom, summer solstice has come to greet us, and the agriculture team is getting ready for some small but significant new additions to the fields.
Beginning in July, more than 300 kids and youth from various neighborhoods in Montreal will come to learn and have fun in our gardens!
Kids from Camp Cosmos, Y des femmes, Robin des Bois, Pousses urbaines, McGill Explorations Summer Camp, Ateliers Boite-à-Lunch, Centre du Plateau and more will visit our urban gardens and peri-urban farm.
They will be welcomed by the agriculture team, including the urban agriculture interns and the farm interns who are busy preparing workshops packed of fun activities for them.
These summer excursions are possible due the support of many partners. Thanks to Fonds régional d’investissement jeunesse (FRIJ), TD Friends of the Environment Foundation and Location Légaré in making our Entre grange et gratte-ciel project possible again this year!
