The Intergenerational Holiday Brunch

Last Thursday, December 10th, we had the joy of hosting our clients, volunteers, and friends at the Roulant’s annual holiday brunch. In a room decorated with snow flake, stars, and garlands, over 120 guests participated in the most popular event that our Meals-on-Wheels program offers.

The menu included lots of favorites and delights such as meat pie, turkey, home made cranberry sauce and stuffed squash. The kitchen co-managers, Jérémie and Karine, lovingly orchestrated a dozen of volunteers over three days to prepare the feast. We are so grateful to everyone who made this event happen by cooking, serving, driving, and keeping good company, our volunteers make these moments magic!

Holiday Magic

The Monday Night Choir made our hearts sing with a collection of beautiful holiday songs. Some listeners even had tears in their eyes! A huge thank you to the Monday Night Choir for sharing their music with us.

For some of our Meals-on-Wheels clients, it is one of the rare occasions to share a meal in good company during the holidays. All of our client-members left the event with a little gift and a big smile.

Thank you to our Donors

The Meals-on-Wheels program is subsidized by many stakeholders: government, foundations, companies and individuals. A sincere thank you to all our donors who help make these special social inclusion events possible four times a year.
