Summer Intergen Celebration in Photos

Events, Meals-on-Wheels, Volunteering - Personal

On June 21st, we celebrated the start of the summer with an intergenerational picnic in the street. A total of 90 meals-on-wheels clients, volunteers and staff enjoyed a beautiful lunch of pulled pork sandwiches and fresh salads, prepared in our kitchen. With the opening of the Terrasses Roy, a public space and urban garden created by the borough, we were able to set up tents and tables right in front of the Roulant.

These intergenerational events provide invaluable moments for meals-on-wheels clients and volunteers to connect. Relive the lovely moments captured through photos below, thanks to photographer Claire Thomas.

Thank you to everyone who made the event possible – to the volunteers who helped out for the event, and to the clients who joined us on that lovely day.
