Call out to all our amazing volunteers! To celebrate the arrival of Summer, The Meals-on-Wheels program is hosting an intergenerational picnic on its Terrasse on Thursday June 28th, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.
The event is intended to bring together our meals-on-wheels community for a day of sunshine (hopefully!) and yummy food, with a special focus on providing our client-members with the opportunity to socialize.
To make it all happen, we are looking for volunteers who can be drivers or copilots to give lifts to our clients, and be of good company for them during the event. If you have your own car, that’s great! But if not, you could drive one of ours! We are also looking for a kitchen and service team and a set-up/tear down crew. Finally, if you lean more towards the artistic side of things, we could also use your help. So if you have music or photography skills (or know someone who does), let us know!
