Revisit the High Tea client event

Events, Meals-on-Wheels

The Roulant bid farewell to spring with a festive gathering dedicated to our beloved clientele. These regular intergenerational events are a wonderful way to break social isolation by fostering opportunities for social connection, which are vital to their well-being.

On the last Thursday of May, around fifteen Meals-on-Wheels clients and their guests came together for High Tea and delicious dishes prepared by the kitchen team. As always, our volunteers were essential to the success of this event, lending a hand to ensure a warm and attentive welcome. Thanks to their involvement and the generosity of all, this afternoon was a resounding success, further strengthening the community bond within the Roulant.

It was a magnificent afternoon that made the heart of the Roulant’s mission beat even stronger and launched all the community members into the upcoming summer celebrations. We look forward to welcoming the Meals-on-Wheels clients back, alongside all community members, at the annual open door celebration Rue Fermier on July 18th.
