We’re looking for volunteers to help out at our Enchanted Garden Gala, coming up on October 27th. The Gala is Santropol Roulant’s biggest fundraising event of the year, and volunteers are key to making it a success!
Last year 70 volunteers came out to support the organization and celebrate with the community. The 2015 Gala brought together over 300 guests and raised over $29,000 for the Roulant’s most urgent needs.
There are many roles to be filled, both running up to the event and on the day of. These include:
- pre-event setup of the venue
- welcome desk & coat check
- bussers and dishwashers
- food prep (Thursdays & Fridays in October, as well as the day of the event)
- drivers / buddies for Meals-on-Wheels clients
- raffle & silent auction
- making decorations
- …and more!
To sign up for some volunteer shifts, please contact Marion for more info. If you have volunteered for the Roulant before, you can also sign up in person on the Gala sign up board.
