We’re looking for volunteers to help out at our upcoming Masked Pumpkin Gala, coming up on Thursday, November 2nd. The Gala is Santropol Roulant’s biggest fundraising event of the year, and volunteers are key to making it a success!
Last year over 100 volunteers came out to support the organization and celebrate with the community. The 2016 Gala brought together over 300 guests and raised over $27 500 for the Roulant’s most urgent needs.
There are many roles to be filled, both before the event and on the day of. These include:
- food prep for the event (Thursday afternoons in October, as well the day of the event)
- making decorations before the event
- setup and decoration of the venue
- welcoming guests at the entrance and coat check
- helping with food service, as bussers and dishwashers
- drivers and buddies for Meals-on-Wheels clients
- helping with the raffle & silent auction
- …and more!
