We’re back for another workshop in the series Recipes from our community, where we invite members of our community of all ages to share their recipes and culinary successes.
Karen, a Meals-on-Wheels volunteer and experimented canner is excited to share with us her family’s recipes and stories. With lots of charisma and nostalgia, she will show us how we too can preserve our favourite produce and enjoy them all year long.
When: Wednesday, September 25th from 5 pm to 8 pm
Where: The Roulant kitchen, 111 Roy East
Cost: Suggested contribution of $15-$25 (pay what you can)
On the Menu:
Fermentation: Sauerkraut with green and purple cabbage
Canning: Plum Jam
