We are so grateful to have so many volunteers come and join us at our peri-urban farm in Senneville and at the organic basket drop-off.
Every Monday and Wednesday morning, volunteers take the train to Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue station and take their bikes out to the farm. They come and help us harvest. It’s a precious exchange we have with them. It is always interesting to see who makes it out each week and the reasons why they choose to volunteer at the farm.
Field conversations are always different and enriching. They are a chance for us to gain perspective on the work we do and on the beauty of the fields and landscape. Their enthusiasm really helps us harvest. For them, it’s a great opportunity to get out of the city and delve into the farming world that is often inaccessible on a daily basis.
Tuesday and Thursday drop-off and Farmers’ Market are supported by a wonderful crew of volunteers, many of whom have been volunteering since the first years of the farm.
All these volunteers form an integral part of the farm team and dynamic! We are so grateful!
