Volunteers, we need your help filling meals on wheels and agriculture shifts! The end of August is a time of year when we need to call upon volunteers to help fill empty slots on the volunteer schedule.
Whether you are available for one or many shifts, any and all help is appreciated. Here are some of the volunteer opportunities where we especially need your help:
Meals-on-Wheels program
- Meal deliveries – Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri from 2:45-6:00pm, and Sat from 2:15-5:30pm
- Afternoon kitchen shifts – Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri from 1:30-4:00pm
- Food preparation – Thurs from 1:30-4:30
Agriculture program (until mid-late October):
- Peri-urban farm in Senneville – Mon/Wed from 8:00am-1:00pm
- Farmers’ market – Tuesday setup and early shift from 2:30-5:15pm
- Occasional shifts available at our downtown gardening sites
Other opportunities:
